The name says it all: along the three rivers Moselle, Sauer and Our, the route follows the German-Luxembourg border in a relaxed way, partly on old railway lines.
PC 3 Schengen - Vianden
Start: Schengen
The “Trois Rivières” Cycle path follows the courses of the river Moselle between Schengen and Wasserbillig, the river Sûre between Wasserbillig and Reisdorf and the river Our between Reisdorf and Vianden, taking you through a constantly changing landscape.
Worth to see: the European Museum in Schengen, the village which gave its name to the accords signed in 1985; the abbey town of Echternach with its impressive basilica, its picturesque market square and its baroque Benedictine abbey; the medieval town of Vianden, over which towers what is considered to be one of the most majestic feudal castles of the Romanesque and Gothic eras in Europe.
