S3 Sauertal Tour
Although the route runs relatively flat along the Sauer for the first 15 km and the last 25 km - thus almost half of the distance - it is demanding and sporty.
The route starts in Echternach and runs along the Sauer to Reisdorf. From Reisdorf, it then ascends for almost 30 km along the White Ernz through the charming villages of Ermsdorf, Medernach, and on to Larochette. Behind Larochette, where a stopover is recommended, it continues parallel to the White Ernz to Fischbach. The second third of the route is varied and scenic, passing through small roads in typical Luxembourg villages such as Godbrange and Reuland to Graulinster. From kilometer 55, the route partly descends along the Syr to Mertert. The last 25 km run leisurely back along the Sauer to Echternach.
