Beaufort impresses with its imposing medieval castle and its Renaissance castle.
The local delicacy is the “Cassero”, a liqueur made of blackcurrant. Besides the Mullerthal Trail and the diversified local hike paths, Beaufort offers two special free-time attractions: an open air pool in the summer, as well as a newly roofed artificial ice rink with ice-karting in winter.
