Here you will find recent information around the Mullerthal Trail:
Due to necessary forestry work, short-term impairments, diversions or closures can occur on certain routes, especially in the winter months.
Some hike sections may be extremely muddy and difficult to pass due to recent heavy rain falls and forestry works. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear.
If you discover current storm damage in the region, you can send an e-mail with information to email@example.com. Thank you for your understanding!
During the hunting season (between October and January), click on http://tourisme.geoportail.lu/ and look in the field “temporary restrictions” if there is any hunt in the surroundings of your hike.
The following link refers to all the temporary restrictions along the hiking trails in Luxembourg: http://g-o.lu/3otmm
The cyclists’ and pedestrians’ bridge between Moersdorf in Luxembourg and Metzdorf in Germany has been closed. During the structural inspection, which takes places every 3 years, significant problems on the pylons were found which no longer guarantee a stability of the structure. Therefore, the bridge had to be closed for all road users.
The closure of the bridge also makes hiking path Felsenweg 4 only partially accessible at the moment. We suggest to hikers to walk the section between Rosport and Moersdorf and then take bus N° 485 back to the starting point. The bus operates every day as well as on weekends every hour.
We kindly apologize for this inconvenience.
