VAKANTIEBEURS UTRECHT
30.01.2009. Along with other Luxembourgish regions, the Regional Tourist Office Mullerthal – Little Switzerland took part at the fair « Vakantiebeurs » in Utrecht in the Netherlands which took place from the 13 until 18 January.
132.000 visitors were counted during the 6 days of the fair.
The first day was dedicated to the professional visitors so that the region could make many valuable contacts with tour operators and journalists.
Even though many visitors did not know much about Luxembourg or just knew the country from one short stay, the interest was very big. Many could be incited in spending more time in the Grand Duchy so that the general brochures about the country were very requested.
With its brochures about the Mullerthal Trail and the various hiking possibilities in Little Switzerland, the Mullerthal Region was able to raise enthusiasm.
