This year the walk called „Mëllerdaller Reesbengel“, which has been a nice tradition in the Mullerthal Region since 18 years, took place in Echternach on 13 September.
Despite very massive rainfalls, 56 persons participated in this walk.
After lunch, a tasty Luxembourgish speciality, which was served in Hostellerie de la Basilique in Echternach, the regional tourist organization suggested a guided visit of the Museum of the Abbey as rainfalls did not stop.
Around 5 p.m., the Minister of Tourism, Fernand Boden, rewarded Francis Reuter from Echternach with the walking stick „Mëllerdaller Reesbengel“ which is a reward for special merits in tourism.
